Coping with Challenges

Encountering challenges is normal in people. Everyone encounters challenges in life. Even from the young ones like students to the older ones like those who're already working encounter problems. We encounter almost countless problems before we reach our dreams and way to success. We shouldn't let our problems become a hindrance to our dreams and make us fail. I believe in the saying that "God gave us the problem for he knows we can carry it" and that "For every problem, there is a solution. It is important to know how to cope and face challenges since everyone encounters it.

There are several ways of coping to our problems. The very first and the most important way is to always remember our Lord. Don't forget Him because he is the only person who can always help us how heavy our problems are. Second, ask for help or assistance to people who are older than us, especially our parents, for they may have experienced the problems we're encountering. Third, always be optimistic and never lose hope and hold even to a very small string of hope. Fourth, always have back-up plans. Have more than 1 solution for every problem. Have plan A, B, C, D, E and if possible until Z. These back-up plans help you to have another solution in case your first solution failed. If none worked, consider it the toughest problem in the world. Lastly, we should learn how to sacrifice. Give up all our wants and those who are not much important to accomplish the more important and to solve the problem. For example, the problem is you cannot finish your homework early and you're always late at school, and you found out that the cause was opening Facebook that slows you down on your homework. Therefore, you need to stop opening Facebook so you can finish your homework faster and come to school earlier.
